Having nearly pulled out of the dive due to a bad case of flu, I couldn't resist the lure of Black Rock and fell into the water after everyone else. I ventured solo down to 50m where I've had the most luck finding big marine creatures. Sure enough, I was thrilled to find myself amongst a school of at least 20 blotched fantail rays (Taeniura meyeni), many of which were nearly 2m in width. Next time I'll take a wider-angle lens!
